6-28-13 Mission Home Welcome

Pres. and Sis. Bishop picked us up from the Taiwan Taoyuan International airport late 

Friday evening, June 28.

When we arrived at the mission home, the welcoming took us by surprise!

We were greeted with the Taiwan Taichung Mission Song sung by a choir of angels, 

and a rose from each missionary!

That afternoon, President Bishop handed off the phone and soon they were on their way home. The Bishops left us a worthy, obedient, and diligent mission. We will forever be grateful for all they have done to help us transition into this wonderful calling!

2013 Mission Presidents Seminar, Provo, Utah

Reporting to the MTC on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Everyone was so welcoming, and knew us each by name!

That evening, we met our first group of missionaries preparing to come to Taiwan in July!

We were so blessed to have our daughter there too! 

She entered the MTC three days before us, and is preparing to serve in the Korea Seoul South Mission:

We were able to say "goodbye" to our MTC tutor and his new bride. We are so grateful for his language skills, his teaching ability, and his encouragement during our seven months of preparation!
