We have been blessed with a new missionary from Australia!
It rained all the way home, but we got a head start on orientation during the two-hour drive.
Next morning, it was perfect running weather: cool, crisp, and cloud cover. On your mark, set...
GO!
See our newest elder? 1) He is about to lap me, and 2) the rest of the gang is no where behind him!
He officially broke the new missionary mile record (since we've been on island), clocking in at 5:17! Previous to this, an elder with our very first group of missionaries clocked in at 5:18 (July 31, 2013 Arriving Missionaries post). I, on the other hand, was happy with my 8:34 mile:)
This office elder ran his personal best this morning!
After orientation from the office missionaries, assistants train from Preach My Gospel:
Getting to meet his first companion and trainer:
President conducts training on The First Twelve Weeks program:
Break for lunch at the Grey House:
After the concluding health and safety orientation, they're off to Daliao!
He was the only one out of the group leaving the MTC that was able to go straight over.
