4-14-17 BYU Tennis Team at Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA

Such a beautiful day in Malibu to cheer on our missionary's BYU tennis team!
Just happens to be the coach's son! Here we are on the sidelines with the coach:
 Nice serve!
What an awesome experience:
playing tennis for BYU, partnered with your brother in doubles, and coached by your dad!
 Basically, they killed it!
Getting a congratulatory handshake by the Pepperdine coach on their win:
They won the match with ease, 6-0 and 6-2!
 Such a great day!

4-2017 General Conference

This RM didn't make it to our reunion because his sweet bride wasn't feeling well.
They were so sweet to offer us their general conference tickets for Saturday afternoon:)
We were happy to be able to see them both!
He made the comment he hadn't seen President in two years.
I thought, there's no way it's been that long. Then I remembered...
I saw him when I came home for my daughter's wedding a little over a year ago!
Our sister missionary singing inspiring hymns on Temple Square for two straight hours
prior to the start of conference:

And singing elders too...what's the one on the right missing from last night?!

We met Elder and Sister Woo from Singapore:
More singing missionaries after conference:
It was such an amazingly gorgeous day!
Taking in Priesthood Session together at a local stake center:
While my son-in-law attended in the Conference Center and met
Elders Guan and newly called Elder Chang:
Congratulations Elder Chang! We are so happy for you!
Preparing for Sunday morning session with my granddaughter Jasmine!
Favorites...breakfast casserole and orange rolls!
Seriously, these rolls my daughter made were the best sweet rolls I had ever tasted in my LIFE!!!
More beloved visitors after conference!
And what a fun surprise to run into another awesome missionary at the airport on our way home!

4-1-17 My Missionary Niece in Taipei

Look who is watching over my niece in Taipei!
我非常感謝所有返鄉傳教姊妹對我姪女的關心!
And she was able to give my cousin a temple tour:)))

3-31-17 Taiwan Taichung Mission Reunion!

LET THE PARTY BEGIN!

A huge thank you to all those that painted signs, shopped for paper goods,
and showed up early to help set up!
And also to those who helped my buy some things for the party:)

Oh my...these two characters broke us in to the mission!

OH MY GOODNESS! Can't say enough THANK YOU's to the aunt and uncle of the sweet sister missionary in the center (with her "mom" on the right). They kept putting out food all night until we ran out of sandwiches, after only an hour or so:( Then went and picked up MORE! If that wasn't enough, they cleaned up all the tables afterwards and even pushed the dry mop back and forth the entire cultural hall until the hard wood floors were all clean! They were our LIFESAVERS!!!

NEWLY ENGAGED!
Newly married!

SO GREAT to have the Schwieders join us!

More newly engaged!
WOW...HE CAME ALL THE WAY FROM NEW ZEALAND!

Only one month to go before they tie the eternal knot!

We hope to get up to Idaho sometime!

This sweet sister pointed out the Food Materials Mall to me on her last evening in Taiwan!
The best baking supply store in our mission...got all my whole wheat flour for sweet breads, powdered sugar for cinnamon rolls, melting chocolate for peanut butter Easter eggs, cream of chicken soup for cheesy funeral potatoes, cellophane gift bags for Christmas missionary favors...the list goes on and on! Can't thank her enough!

And our last returned missionary of the evening showed up at 8:30pm!  We are so glad he stopped by,
and wished everyone who thought this would end early would've popped in too!
