6-2-16 Gaoxiong Zone Conference - Gaoxiong North, Gaoxiong West, and Pingtong Zones

This last set of zone conferences were heart rendering to us both. Singing the opening hymn "Called to Serve" with our missionaries one last time brought tears to my eyes!
Trainers introduced our newest missionaries to the zone:
President followed with an inspiring discussion on "Becoming a Preach My Gospel Missionary" by Elder David A. Bednar. Afterwards, the missionaries received Heath, Safety, and Personal Grooming training by yours truly. Assistants and zone leaders conducted helpful training on the Role of the Book of Mormon in helping others come unto Christ:

Volunteers build an arch with the Book of Mormon as the keystone of our religion:

Voila!
Perfect pint-sized!
What happens when the keystone is knocked out?
The arch crumbles, as does the restored gospel without the powerful testimony of the Book of Mormon!
Gaoxiong West zone leaders meet with their zone members:

Gaoxiong North zone leaders with their zone members:

Pingdong zone leaders with their zone members:

Pizza lunch and whole wheat banana cake (with bananas from the mission home tree):

Happy Birthday to missionaries celebrating in June, July and August!
We were blessed to hear a departing reflection from our mission presidency first counselor:
A beautiful rendition of "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" was performed by the Gaoxiong West Zone. Brought even more tears to my eyes!
Assistants conduct training on effective planning, after which missionaries practice using Dragon Scrolls: a consolidation of the most effective planning tips submitted by our missionaries!

President instructs on worthiness, obedience and diligence:
Departing reflections shared by our missionaries returning home this transfer:

After we shared our own departing reflections, we appropriately closed with the mission song:

What a blessing it was to meet with all the zones in Gaoxiong!
Sister Training Leader meeting:

District leader meeting:

Time to evaluate and prepare for our next zone conference in the central part of our mission:
