May Day 2016 - Celebrating President's Birthday

Celebrating President's birthday with a P-day lunch at his favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant:)
Then a scavenger hunt afterwards, planned by the Assistants, to find the treasure:
First clue, Ezekiel 40:18, "And the pavement by the side of the gates over against the length of the gates was the lower pavement." After walking around and around in circles, FAIL! The Assistants had to text us a hint as to where to look:
Second clue, Song of Solomon 2:14, "Oh my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely." This one was easier to find:)
Third clue, Deuteronomy 33:25, "Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be." Found it!
Fourth clue, "Matthew 12:33," Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit." What is that?
After discovering the Party String, a war was in order!
Ahhh, the real prize: Krispy Kreme donuts!

We had a birthday guest join us:)
A round of "Happy Birthday" to celebrate 59 years!
 Wow, authentic Krispy Kremes!
President and Sister Chang of the Taichung East Stake took us to dinner with their family later that evening, reminiscent of our very first day in Taiwan almost three years ago being welcomed to the island after arriving in Taichung!
